Borderset is the student management software for individual teachers and private tutors. We were founded in 2015 by three teachers who were tired of stitching together spreadsheets, calendars, and chat threads to run their own student rosters — so they built one tool that did it all.

Founders
Three teachers. One stubborn problem.
Borderset's founders met as private tutors juggling overlapping students, hand-written grading sheets, and a phone full of parent group chats. They started Borderset in 2015 to fix that — for themselves first, then for everyone teaching the same way.
